How I take Spirulina! Even though I took a small dose, I felt some pain in the left side of my head; I think that it is because of the detox effect. I’ve felt pain at this part of my brain when I took MMS with DMSO also. What I’ve found best for me is taking just one spirulina to begin with, increase to 2, and then increase from there to 2 – two times a day. I’ve taken it with and without food. It’s a very healthy superfood! There is good information from Dr. Mercola on the Vitamin K’s and their interaction with blood thinners. He has some very good thinking on this! I would recommend this for anyone taking blood thinners and contemplating supplemeting with Spirulina. This, I feel is a good thing. Spirulina is a good natural source of Vitamins A, and the two Vitamin K’s as well as other great nutrition! Hey! I just read on Dr. Mercola’s site that Spirulina helps to normalize cholesterol levels – naturally!
