– blend together 1 cup of frozen berries, 1 frozen banana, 1 tablespoon of chia powder, 1/2 cup of almond milk, and a hand full of spinach.
– pour into a bowl and top it with granola, coconut flakes, gogi berries, and hemp hearts
Pre-Workout Smoothie:
– blend together half and half of kale and spinach, 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of spirulina powder, 1 cup of cubed pineapple, and 1/4 cup of water.
Sushi Burrito:
– prepare sushi rice using directions on the package
– add a teaspoon of sugar and white vinegar to the rice and mix
– lay out a sheet of nori on a sushi roller and cover it with the rice using cold water to avoid rice sticking
– lay cucumber, carrots, and avocado across the sheet
– attach another nori sheet on the end of the current sheet with water
– roll using the sushi roller and use water to glue the end
Spaghetti Squash:
– place 1/4 cup quinoa and 1/2 cup water in a pot and let it come to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes
– add a hand full of spinach chopped, half a red pepper chopped, 2 green onions chopped, a little parsley, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sweet and sour sauce, and a dash of pepper and salt then stir
– cut spaghetti squash in half and place in a microwavable bowl with 1/4 cup water and seal with plastic wrap
– microwave for 7 minutes and let it cool
– once cooled, remove the seeds and use a fork to get the “spaghetti” out
– pour the quinoa mixture into the spaghetti squash bowl
