Here I show the the medicinal properties of the pine tree. The pine tree is a great source of natural medicine. The pine pollen which will be ready to harvest in June can be eaten raw or made into a tincture. The pine pollen is full of b vitamins, pro vitamin A, 18 amino acids and a great at protecting the body from free radicals. The best time to harvest pine pollen is when its about to pollinate. You will know when to harvest it because it will be bright yellow and much larger than what is seen in the video. Also, unlike pine pollen, the pine needles can be harvested year round. The pine needles are an excellent source of Vitamin C and make a great addition to any of your herbal teas. Always simmer the needles, making sure not to boil. ENJOY!
