Here I show you how to harvest wintergreen. The berries of wintergreen are edible and have an amazing taste. The leaves are medicinal and should be used as such and not in excess. The essential oil of wintergreen is toxic and even deadly to human beings. This is why the plant should only be used if gathered in the wild where concentrations of methyl salicylate is in low enough concentrations to where it is not harmful but medicinal to humans.
