Hello again, this time we thought we’ed show you how we stay stalked up on one of our favorite SUPER FOODS! We made this quick start to sprouting video for beginners. For just 50 cents a tray (11″ x 24″) witch we split for a salad, we have home grown sunflower sprouts. You just cant beat the freshness of these baby! We source our seeds locally for 1$ a lb, we use 1 heaping cup for each tray (that’s 0.5 lbs!) So each tray cost us about 50 cents and we split that each night. That’s 25 cents a large full bowl of sprouts! How great is that? We use organic top soil that runs 7$ a lb and it last us 2 whole months that’s 11.6 cents a tray for dirt!
